Shoe was large inside back heel. Beautiful style of which did not work for me. This was to have been something for the office. The suede was fine and the golden caramel as depicted. However I had more concerns about the construction stability of the inside of the heel. The last two items I had purchased from the Sam Edelman line had a core within the heel made up of what appeared to be white plastic(they were not counterfeits) I noted white plastic peeking through small, accidental scruff marks of which I was trying to cover up. One set of heels belonged to a pair of goatskin boots of which I truly loved, the other was on a pair of navy dress pumps. Plastic tends to break down with time,pressure(like your weight) and temperature extremes. On this purchase I asked myself:: Are the materials durable enough? Will they last me for several seasons? Boots were well packed in tissue and beautifully boxed. And, I guess would make a nice gift for someone else.
