I work on construction sites everyday in varied terrain and in and out of water. Had these boots for a couple months and I couldn’t be happier. Fit is true to size. They lace up and protect the ankles especially on hills and rocky terrain. I can attest that they are waterproof. I have been in water up to my ankles and not a drop made it in, not even near the laces and tongue. They are very comfortable and can be worn with thicker socks. I have been in concrete, walked on nails, hiked through woods, and slushed through mud. Although they are now a bit darker brown then when new, they have washed up easily and I don’t have any tears or scratches on them. Bonus is that they look good too.Hope they last for a good many years
